Terms and Conditions
I. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Company Information
The owner, administrator and operator of the website and (sub)domains www.dogstar.dk, and the provider of Dogstar Academy educational and consulting services, is STAR akademija, Anita Gosnik, s.p., Spodnja Polskava 264, 2331 Pragersko, company registration number 8686254000, tax number SI40596001. Users are required to comply with these General Terms and Conditions (the Terms). By using these websites, users accept the Terms and declare that they have read, understood and agreed to them.
2. Purchase of Online Programmes or Consultations
By purchasing a Dogstar Academy online programme or consultation, the user agrees to all provisions of these Terms.
These General Terms and Conditions govern the terms, rights and obligations of users and the provider, as well as the use of paid and free services and content on www.dogstar.dk. They constitute a legally valid and binding agreement between the provider and users.
Users order Dogstar Academy online programmes by completing an online purchase form. By submitting the form, they agree to these Terms and consent to receiving email notifications and monthly materials. Completing the online form and confirming the order or purchase constitutes the conclusion of an electronic sales contract with the provider. These General Terms and Conditions form an integral part of that contract.
The user completes the purchase process by paying through PayPal, by card through the Stripe payment processor, or by payment against a pro forma invoice.
Online programmes remain available to users for the period specified for each programme at the time of purchase. Time-limited programmes state the precise date until which access is available.
Programmes described as offering “lifetime access” or “unlimited access” remain available for as long as the programme exists. If a programme is discontinued for any reason or the provider ceases trading, the provider will notify users who purchased unlimited access at least 30 days in advance and offer them the opportunity to download video content and written materials free of charge to their computers from the online platform, Google Drive, or another cloud storage service where the materials are held.
For programmes that allow monthly instalments, if a participant chooses this payment method but fails to pay all instalments, access to the programme and the participants’ Facebook group will be terminated. Partial access to the programme or access to selected content only is not possible.
3. Delivery of Services
Training and consultations are provided by granting users who purchase a Dogstar Academy online programme access to the types of materials and/or services described in that particular programme.
5. Complaints Handling
The provider complies with applicable consumer protection legislation. If a problem arises, the purchaser may contact the provider by email. Complaints can be submitted to info@dogstar.dk. The provider undertakes to respond within five working days with a proposal for how the complaint will be handled.
The provider will make every reasonable effort to resolve any disputes amicably.
7. No Refunds
The user acknowledges and agrees that they do not have the right to withdraw without giving a reason or receive a refund because the purchase involves the supply of digital content that is not delivered on a tangible medium.
8. Validity of Offers
The prices applicable to a purchase are those in effect when the order is confirmed. VAT is not charged pursuant to Article 94(1) of the Slovenian Value Added Tax Act (ZDDV-1); we are not registered for VAT. Prices in the online store may change without prior notice. Due to the nature of online business, courses are updated and changed frequently and rapidly. Images may be illustrative and may not always fully reflect the actual product or service.
9. Limitation of Liability
Because the internet is an open and unsecured network, our company cannot be held responsible for loss or damage arising in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the materials, features or services offered on this website, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of data, revenue, profit or opportunity, loss of or damage to property, and claims by third parties. Users must provide suitable computer equipment, a standard internet connection of average speed, and an appropriate web browser to access the website. Speakers or headphones are also needed for uninterrupted use of the services.
The provider makes every effort to keep information published on its websites accurate and up to date. Nevertheless, the features and prices of services may change so quickly that the provider cannot update the information in time. In such cases, the provider will notify the purchaser of the changes and allow them to cancel their order.
The forms of consultation and education advertised on this website are not officially recognised forms of assistance or officially accredited educational programmes. Under the Dogstar Academy brand, we provide lectures and consultations that do not replace conventional dog training. We share knowledge and experience acquired through education with various authors and programmes, solely to improve the quality of life of individuals and their dogs by offering different ways of understanding life situations. Dogstar Academy provides educational content and consultations that explore different approaches to understanding a wide variety of situations.
Participation is open to owners of dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. Where a dog has been officially classified as dangerous and its owner has been ordered to undertake mandatory training, that training must follow a programme approved by the Slovenian Administration for Food Safety, Veterinary Sector and Plant Protection (UVHVVR). Dogstar Academy does not provide such training. The owner must inform the provider if their dog has dangerous-dog status. The provider does not advise owners of dangerous dogs.
All information available through the website is provided for educational purposes only. Consultations address general examples and are intended for general use; they are not designed as individual assessments of specific cases. Consultations do not cover every possible way of solving problems, training or raising dogs, nor every possible form of relationship, measure or consequence.
Individuals assume full responsibility for attending consultations or educational activities offered by us. If you are unsure whether our education or consultations are suitable for you or for someone undertaking dog training or behavioural rehabilitation, we recommend contacting us for advice. Consultations may be used only by adults or persons with full legal capacity. By registering for and participating in our educational and consulting programmes, you agree to the above Terms and accept full responsibility for your participation.
As consultations provided through the website are not psychotherapy, we are not obliged to treat information received from users as confidential in the manner required for psychotherapy. We are legally and ethically obliged to report suspected animal abuse to the competent authorities.
We accept no responsibility for animal behaviour or the consequences of animal behaviour.
10. Copyright

Copying or publishing any content, in whole or in part, elsewhere is prohibited unless the owner has expressly authorised it in writing.
